A strong cabinet supplier should be evaluated on process, not only on sample appearance or sales communication. Factory audits reduce the gap between what the supplier says and what the production system can actually deliver. What to check first

Start with production capability, material flow, edge banding and finishing equipment, hardware integration, packaging setup, and in-process QC. If the factory struggles to explain those areas clearly, that is already a signal. Buyers should also check whether the facility supports the product complexity they are actually planning to buy.

What good buyers document

Document the factory layout, key equipment, sample area, packaging area, quality checkpoints, and how drawings or change requests are controlled. The goal is not to create a perfect report. The goal is to see whether the supplier operates with discipline that can survive real project pressure.
